The third path is the divine path to your destiny that God Himself has drawn out for you as a human being. You set foot on this path when you become born again. If you will become accurate in the things pertaining to your destiny, you need to go back to God to find out your God-ordained path.
When Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God has set eternity in men’s hearts. Men’s hearts literally mean your spirit man, the eternal part of you. That eternal implant of the LORD in your spirit man charts a course for your life just like the star that showed up when Jesus was born. The wise men said, “We have seen His star from the East.”
That was the same star that Balaam saw in Numbers 24:17 and it had been travelling since that time. It was not following any course in tandem with other heavenly bodies. The wise men were astrologers and they discerned that this star, going on its own unique course, was different. They were not the first to see that star, the prophet saw the star but could not fathom it because it did not apply to anybody in their day.
You need to understand that there is a star rising inside you and if you would respond to the guidance of God (Psalm 32:8), you will not go wrong. Many people have made a shipwreck of their destiny by becoming the wrong person in the right field of their destiny. God may destine you as a leader of men but you need divine guidance in order not to end up like many ungodly leaders of generations past.
PRAYER: Lord, instruct me and guide me with Your eye. Help me to find the path You have ordained for me in order to fulfil my destiny in Jesus’ name.
