God is a God of structure and order. Don't do indirect pastoring of biological children and relatives. If you came to church with your adult children, let them fall in line with the church structure and have their own direct relationship with the pastor. Don't insist that they relate with the church through you. If you do that, you will notice that their colleagues that came to church on their own will be doing well and growing in the Lord while your children may not give their best to all that God is making available in the church.
If you don't allow your children to respond to the demands of the Lord as represented by the Pastor's instruction, you will soon become an insulator between your children and the Lord and whatever happens to them will be your fault. Once they are old enough to vote, they are old enough to have their own Pastor. Don't do indirect pastoring for biological children.
The husband is indeed a priest at home but if you attend the same church with your children and they are 18 years and above let them be free to relate directly to function like other single teenagers in the church are functioning, because that's what will bring out their spiritual growth. If you do otherwise you will be hindering the work of God from your own end. You will be limiting what those children can become, and you will not allow the spirit of their Pastor (and their own destiny portion from the Lord) rest upon them, because you are deflecting it in the middle.
PRAYER: Lord, I open up to the pastoral office as you have ordained it to be administered for my benefit and destiny growth in Jesus’ name. Amen.
