There are two basic things that accompany salvation which are:

1.Signs show in your life. When the signs mentioned in that scripture above are not seen, then your salvation can be questioned.

2. There will be practical changes taking place in your life that points to people that you have had an encounter of salvation.

You can operate on two levels, the basic things and the matured things. There are people that God does not permit to progress spiritually. Reason being that God does not promote failure. How do you know if God does not permit you to progress? You will see yourself battling with the same issues in your life.

 Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

The signs of salvation won’t take us to heaven,  it is the changes of salvation that takes us to heaven. The

The scripture above speaks of the changes of salvation. If you want to make heaven, you will need to focus on Matt.28. But if you want to be effective on the earth, Mark 16 is what you go for. The desire of God is to make you conform to Christ and it is only Matt.28 that will get you that.

In verse 19; The Baptism here does not only mean water baptism but also baptism in the Holy Ghost, in fire and the very life and process that God wants you to go through. God measures your progress by what you used to be before you met Christ and what you are to become in Christ. Men are impressed with the signs but God is interested in the changes. Let your focus be centered on what you are becoming in his hand, and the various baptisms of divine activities, and the process He is taking you through and you will be all He has ordained you to be in Jesus name.

Prayer: Father I ask for a fresh baptism of fire, obedience and divine process upon my life so that I can be conformed to the image of your Son in Jesus’ name.
