Your vision is the true reflection of what you are capable of doing, not your circumstance or situation. Let me define a God's vision for you: “A vision is the clear picture of the end product”. One of the reasons why people don’t have a vision is because there are too much doubt and fear in their lives. The day you catch a true vision from God, you know that your end is secured. Nothing can stop you from being what God wants you to be except you.

The understanding of the vision of God for the life of a man was so serious that it was a major prayer that Paul the apostle prayed for the Ephesian church and also for us today. Instead of driving your life on the engine of ambition, get a correct clear vision from the Lord. Know this today and do not forget it; before God formed you, he knew you and He ordained you to be something and when you discover what that thing is, you will know what you are ordained to be. What God has ordained you to be, the devil cannot de-ordain from becoming it.

In Genesis 37:5, Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. That dream which was the expression of the vision of God for his life was the beginning of his journey to the top. Your vision is a divine communication. A true vision is from God; a redemptive revelation. That is what will redeem your life from all the wastages that has taken place. It doesn’t matter how much of your life has been wasted; if you catch the vision at fifty four, it will redeem your life. It will cause you to accelerate and shift forward in life. That is why you see people that caught the vision of God for their lives early in life, they are speaking with the colleagues of their father because vision accelerates people in life.

The moment your vision in life is wrong, your destination in life will definitely be wrong. Before you set out in life, see to it that you get your vision right in life and your journey will be faster than you expected in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Lord, I receive grace today not to live my life on the basis of assumption but to understand and follow the vision you have for my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
